Święta Lipka is a small village which is known for the pilgrimage church ‘Our Dear Lady of Święta Lipka’, one of the most important examples of Baroque architecture in modern Poland.
The interior of the three-ship basilica makes a stunning impression with his wealth.
The biggest attraction is the baroque organ from 1721. While playing, there are moving figurines of Mary and archangel Gabriel. The angel on the central tower plays mandolin and the cherubs turn around on their axis.
The distance from Plozy to Święta Lipka is about 75 km. It is near Reszel so a visit can be easily combined with a visit to Wolfsschanze.
